What this site collects

Scope
This covers Itan’s website and the sandbox API served from it. The production service described elsewhere on this site is in development and is not covered here; it will have its own terms and a data processing agreement before it accepts customer data.
No accounts, no cookies, no analytics
There is no sign-up and no login. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and loads no third-party scripts, trackers, or embeds. Fonts are compiled into the site at build time, so viewing a page makes no request to any other company.
Sandbox keys
A sandbox key is issued on request without asking for anything. It contains an issue timestamp, a random value, and a signature — no name, no address, nothing identifying. Nothing is recorded when one is issued, so a key cannot be traced back to whoever asked for it.
What the sandbox does with what you send it
Text you send to the sandbox is held in the memory of the process serving the request. It is never written to disk, never sent anywhere else, and is discarded when that process restarts or is replaced. A key holds at most twenty chunks and expires after seven days.
Because it is neither durable nor private to you in any strong sense, do not send personal data, customer data, or anything confidential to the sandbox. Use the demo corpus, or text you would be comfortable publishing.
Rate limiting and server logs
To stop one caller exhausting the sandbox, request counts are held against your IP address in memory for sixty seconds and then dropped. Beyond that, the hosting provider serving this site keeps its own request logs — the same ordinary access logs any web host keeps.
Nothing is sold or shared
There is no advertising, no data broker, no marketing list, and no third party receiving anything about your visit.
